North Toronto Physicians Journal Club
We are currently looking for paddlers for our FCCP dragonboat team this season. We usually have two boats, one for more competitive paddlers and one for novice/recreational paddlers. We practice on Lake Ontario at Sunnyside, south of High Park, mostly on Sunday mornings between 10:00 and 11:30 from mid April to the end of June; no practices on the long weekends. We compete only at the Toronto International Dragonboat Race Festival on Centre Island during the weekend of June 17-18, 2017. Paddlers must be available for most practices and both days of the race weekend. The fee to participate is approximately $150. Life jackets and wood paddles are provided. Our team is about fun, fitness and friendships. If you are interested in trying out for our team, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org , preferably before the end of January. Space is limited.
